Our summer camp and back‑to‑school event connect youth, parents and community members to educational resources such as STEM training and school supplies. During the summer camp, we celebrate the accomplishments of our youth, strengthen communication between parents and staff, and build support for their children’s future and academic success.
By blending fun activities with educational opportunities, the camp encourages youth to thrive and families to engage with key personnel who will help them navigate the school year.
The Community Baby Shower increases support and engagement among residents while promoting meaningful youth involvement in fun activities. Participants network, brainstorm and share ideas for connecting youth to available resources and services, helping decrease delinquency and violence.
This event fosters intergenerational collaboration and provides young parents with a supportive environment to celebrate and plan for their family’s future.
Through food drives and giveaways we reduce poverty and promote the spirit of giving in our neighborhood. By advocating for youth and families, we connect residents to resources and services that promote holiday cheer and provide encouragement to those facing hardship.
The program builds awareness of our youth development initiatives while addressing risk factors for poverty and hunger in the community.
Our annual gala celebrates our supporters and empowers teen parents with knowledge about parenting, healthy relationships, financial literacy and child development. The event connects youth, families and community partners to resources while raising funds to sustain our programs throughout the year.
